Weber State picked 5th/6th in Big Sky polls

The preseason polls are in and it looks like Big Sky Conference coaches and media expect Weber State to be a middle of the pack team.

The media polls has the Wildcats in fifth place, one spot higher than where they were slotted by the Big Sky coaches.

Defending national champion Eastern Washington is the preseason favorite, followed in both polls by Montana State, Montana and Sacramento State.

In fact, Weber State and Northern Arizona’s placement was the only point of disagreement between the two polls, with the coaches putting the Lumberjacks fifth and dropping WSU to sixth. Portland State, Idaho State and Northern Colorado were the consensus bottom three.

Do you think the media and coaches got this one right? Where would you rank the Wildcats in the upcoming season?
