Big Sky TV seeks input from fans

How would you grade Big Sky Conference schools for their Big Sky TV service?

The league is looking for input on several aspects of the service, including the following:

  • Why do you follow Big Sky athletics?
  • How would you rate Big Sky TV’s performance during the 2010-11 season?
  • Did Big Sky TV increase your awareness of results and performances from around the league?
  • Did you have problems viewing events on Big Sky TV?
  • How much would you be willing to pay for the Big Sky TV service? (Keep in mind you would be able to watch any and all Big Sky events.)

Take the survey here and let me know what you think in the comments section below as well.

The Big Sky needs to parter with a legit online TV broadcaster. B2 networks just isnt cutting it. They need to parter with Apple TV or XBOX or some medium that can stream the video with at least 480p quality. Then people can actually watch the game without feeling like an idiot. If your going to go the free route why not have one of the emerging online TV companies broadcast the video for free and play commericals. If managed correctly, Online TV can be somewhat of an exposure equilizer between the big and smaller conferences, this might take a few years but eventually every home should have acess to a high quality broadcast of every game. But dont charge. Increase the quality, play commericials and get BigskyTV in alot of homes. Charging will just prevent the conference from going mainstream at a time when they have a great opportunity. Within 3-5 years, online TV is going to take off and if managed correctly the BigSky can benefit greatly.

Excuse the grammer errors. I didn’t realise I was unable to edit my comment. I didn’t even think I was posting on a blog. I thought I was typing a feedback email.
