Weber State's Bolen earns Big Sky weekly honor

Bo Bolen’s big game Saturday got big notice by the Big Sky today, and a round of applause at the Wildcat luncheon at the Ogden Golf and Country Club.

The Weber State kick returner/running back had a career-high 333 yards of total offense against Portland State, the fourth-highest total in school history, and earned the Big Sky Conference’s special teams player of the week award.

Weber State tailback Vai Tafuna and linebacker Nick Webb were nominees for the offensive and defensive player of the week honors, which went to Montana State quarterback Denarius McGhee and Eastern Washington safety Matt Johnson, respectively.
