Weber State running back Trevyn Smith has been suspended for the first half for today’s game at Northern Colorado. The senior reportedly was in violation of team rules for missing a team meeting on Friday night in Greeley.
Smith will be eligible to play in the second half.
This means freshman Bo Bolen will have the opportunity to shine in front of several family members and friends. Bolen, who is from nearby Aurora, Colo. (also the hometown of yours truly), will get the start and if he plays well in the first half then he will likely continue to get the ball in the second half, even if Smith is allowed to play.
