Thank you, laytonian, for letting me know that I’ve discovered one more way to NOT copy and paste on the site.
It’s all fixed now.

I am a littel confused why so many listen to Glenn Beck at all. Other than being an alcholic and drug abuser, does he have any real traceable credibility? When we perform research papers in college, it is our responsibility to cite our references, and ensure they are credible sources. So, where did this diligent behavior stop? Just because a person is on the radio or TV does not mean he/she is credible. Glenn Beck is very entertaining, but a credible source… Now that’s a slippery slope.

I think the first thing you must take into account is that the vast majority of Mr. Beck’s audience is not familiar with research papers and “credibility” anyway. He is in the business of entertaining an audience that thinks of politics and current events as a spectator sport. I could probably narrow that thought to be a bit more focused and accurate. He is in the business of entertaining an audience. There is nothing scholarly or learned about it.*
*I’m not certain that I used “learned” properly in that last sentence.

To Casey: Well said – even the last sentence
What is more alarming is Mr. Beck’s “912 project” (google it). It is the formation of something similar in nature to what could easily migrate into a domestic terrorist organization. Does the old Symbionese Liberation Army ring a bell.
A message for Glenn – your 912 project has been thought of before. While you may brand and advertise it differently it is the S.O.S. that our country has been through before. Glenn, just call it what it is S.L.A.

In Utah Beck gets a lot of attention because he converted to LDS a few years ago
